A Message from the Board of Supervisors

Thank you to the Springettsbury community for your efforts this year. Thank you for helping to reduce the spread of COVID-19, through social
distancing and wearing masks. Thank you to our essential workers and first responders for working to keep our friends, families, and neighbors safe.

Throughout the pandemic, the Township has worked to remain available to resident needs. Even when offices were closed to the public due to the
Governor’s stay-at-home orders, staff was available by phone and email. The Board of Supervisors voted to support an immediate move to the green
phase at the end of May, to help local restaurants and businesses continue to operate. When the Administration office reopened to the public in June,
we made efforts to protect residents and staff, while still making sure you had access to conduct Township business.

In June, the Board of Supervisors recognized the Springettsbury Township Police Department for their efforts to ensure equal treatment for all persons
with whom they interact. On page 4, take an opportunity to review the many programs and policies the Springettsbury Police Department has
implemented to protect our community and officers.

Do not forget, Springettsbury Township is open for business! We encourage you to safely visit our local businesses, restaurants, and shops. Supporting
local businesses helps to improve the economy of our community in ways that benefit business owners, taxpayers, and municipal services.

With a wide variety of local restaurants, we encourage you to enjoy a delicious meal, with the option of ordering to-go or by relaxing in some of the
expanded seating opportunities. Visit your stylist or barber for a trim. Shop for your favorite items, all right here in Springettsbury.

The Springettsbury Township Board of Supervisors is here to support you. If you would like to reach us, we are including our email addresses in this
issue for your convenience. We welcome you to join us at the Board of Supervisors meetings held twice a month, currently available via Zoom. A full
schedule of public meetings is available on our Township website calendar, www.springettsbury.com.
We know that this has been a very uncertain time. We will get through this and hope you feel safe and at home in Springettsbury Township.
